Hi! This is Katie from Work Made For Hire. Dylan's lending me her podcast hosting space to share this year's Freelancer Roundtable with you. Friday I sat down with Bill Mudron, Erika Moen and Dylan to talk about freelancing. We've been hosting these podcasts for four years now. It's been a nice way to reflect on the scramble that freelancing can be and talk about we've learned in the last year.
In this second part of the podcast we talk about figuring out hourly vs. flat rates, knowing when to move for work and what our goals are for the coming year.

In this first part of the podcast we talk about portfolios, when to pass on work, and Bill tells a horrifying story of how not to make sure you get paid for a freelancing job.

A quick but punchy autumnal podcast! In which we discuss Sherlock Holmes, religious upbringing, dolphin impressions, and Luther's nose. I probably ended up re-answering a lot of previous questions - sorry about that, but it's been so long since the last one that you don't remember them from the first time, right? Right.
This just about finishes off the original round of questions (geez), and I'm collecting new ones, so feel free to submit! Given recent events in the comic, I can only imagine what new frustrations I've bred in you.

Hey everybody!
At long last I've found adequate hosting for this, the scruffiest of webcomic podcasts. I apologize for the volume of "um"s in the first five minutes, as well as the incessant woosh of my internal disc drive. Also for my voice, and the words I am saying. Oh god.
Now that I'm off the ground, I'm looking to invest in a decent little USB mike so that the next round of questions can be answered more competently! If this one doesn't cut the mustard for you, stick around for my next attempt.
If you would like to submit any new questions, feel free to submit them in comments here, or at my primary journal.
Thanks everybody! Please subscribe to the many, many feeds that podbean offers to you, and enjoy my witless ramblings.
